President

Lesley Gadegbeku (Gad-da-beck-ku) holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Howard University in Washington, D.C. Her areas of nursing practice include adult Intensive Care and Neonatal Units. She has worked in many hospitals in Atlanta and across the country, serving in staff and travel nurse positions. She is also a licensed real estate agent and is trained as a court mediator. She has spent her career focused on the health, welfare, and education of women and children in the communities she has served.

She currently serves on the boards of directors of two nonprofit organizations and is a strategic advisor for a third.

Lesley is a global liaison for Kingdom Investments (KI)- a multi-million-dollar grant-making ministry of Perimeter Church that provides resources to start and grow ministries of mercy, justice, and kingdom advancement. Her activities include evaluating the merit and sustainability of grant application programs and participating in award decisions.

She is a strategic Advisor to Victorious Family, a 501(c)(3) faith-based organization supporting family development. In this role, she facilitates business partnerships to further the foundation's mission.

In 2022, she joined the Southeastern Legacy Of Light Foundation Board of Directors, providing programming and training to broaden the scope and impact of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority’s chapters and affiliates in the southeastern region. In 2025 she was elected the Foundation's president.

Soror Gadegbeku celebrates 43 years as a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. She has been elected to multiple local offices and has served the organization nationally as a committee chair and membership Liaison.

Vice President

Eula Farmer Tatman is a Delta Alpha Sigma Chapter member in Augusta, Georgia. She is a Ruby and Life Member #794. In Delta Alpha Sigma, she holds the office of Parliamentarian.


Professionally, Eula is a Grants Development Specialist II in the Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine Department at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University in Augusta, GA.

 

Eula has over 25 years of experience managing and writing grants for universities, private and community foundations, and not-for-profit organizations in Kentucky, Alabama, Colorado, Texas, and Georgia.

 

She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University. She has also earned a School of Foundation Management Certificate from Cannon Financial Institute, a Certificate of Completion from the Grant Making School of Grand Valley State University in Advance Proposal Analysis, and a Certificate of Completion from the Grant Making School of Grand Valley State University in grant Financial Analysis. Eula has held several leadership roles within the Sorority. She serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors of the SER Legacy of Life Foundation, is a member of the SER Recommendations Committee, serves as the Parliamentarian for the Delta Alpha Sigma Chapter, and served on the Sigma Public Education Foundation (SPEAR) Board of Directors and as the Alabama State Area Coordinator.

Treasurer

Leslie M. Clark is a dynamic leader with over 20 years of experience in public administration, grants management, workforce development, and higher education. She currently serves as the Director of the Transportation Workforce Development (TWD) Program at Alabama State University, funded by the Alabama Department of Transportation, where she helps high school and college students explore careers in the transportation industry while developing leadership and workforce readiness skills. Leslie also has over 10 years of experience with H&R Block as a Senior Tax Analyst and Virtual Income Tax Instructor.
 

Leslie’s career spans multiple sectors, including state government, public health, higher education, and nonprofit leadership. She previously served with the Alabama Department of Public Health, managing over $100M in federal and state immunization funds, and with the Alabama Historical Commission, where she directed state grants and contracts for historic preservation initiatives. Her extensive background also includes more than a decade at Tuskegee University in leadership development, career services, and program management.


Leslie earned her Master of Business Administration and Graduate Human Resource Management Certification from the University of Phoenix and holds both Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in Food and Nutritional Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Animal and Poultry Sciences, all from Tuskegee University.


At home, Leslie is a card playing enthusiast and animal activist, working with her local humane society fostering dogs and transporting them to the weekly Pet Pal segment at the local NBC affiliate, WSFA. She is a certified dog trainer and has three dogs of her own – 13-year-old Harvey, 9-year-old Lyon, and 4-year-old Squash and two parakeets (Ike and Tina).

Secretary

Margo Green, originally from Natchez, MS, is a long-standing member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., where she has been actively involved for over 22 years. She became a member in the Fall of 2000 within the Eta Tau chapter at The University of Southern Mississippi. After graduation she became a member of the Beta Chi Sigma Alumni chapter located in Hattiesburg, MS.


Within her sorority, Margo has held several key roles, including Community Service Chair, Technology Chair, and National Program Chair. She has also served as a TORCH trainer, Vice President, and Advisor to the local undergraduate chapter. Currently, she is the President of the Beta Chi Sigma chapter in Hattiesburg, MS.


In her professional career, Margo is a Senior Quality Test Analyst, working on a range of projects across federal, state, and private sectors. She is well-versed in all stages of the Software Development Cycle and specializes in application testing, including 508 compliance testing. Margo holds a BS in Computer Science, an MA in Project Management, and an MBA in Business Administration. 


She also has a background in the military, having served as the Clerk for the Design Section and is a veteran.

Programs Director

Marquitta D. Riggins is a dedicated nonprofit leader and fund development professional with over 18 years of experience in philanthropy, program administration, and community engagement. She proudly serves as Program Chair for the Southeastern Region Legacy of Light Foundation (SERLOLF).
 

Inducted into Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. in 2004, Marquitta currently serves as Basileus (President) of the Kappa Lambda Sigma Chapter in Anniston, Alabama, and Southeastern Region Rhosebud Liaison, guiding the development and expansion of youth clubs throughout the region.
 

Professionally, Marquitta serves as Assistant Director of the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind (AIDB) Office of Field Services and Interim Director of AIDB Senior Services, where she supports statewide programs that expand access, independence, and opportunity for individuals who are Deaf, Blind, DeafBlind, and have other unique abilities. Her leadership focuses on strengthening regional service delivery, advancing community partnerships, and supporting initiatives that promote aging in place, inclusion, and full participation in community life. Through her work, Marquitta helps position AIDB as a statewide leader in accessible, person-centered services across the lifespan.

Marquitta’s influence extends to state and regional nonprofit leadership. She currently serves as President-Elect of the Alabama Chapter of the Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired (AER) and formerly held the position of IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Access) Chair for the Alabama Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
 

A proud alumnae of Jacksonville State University, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science and a Master of Public Administration in Education. Known for her collaborative spirit, innovative thinking, and heart for service, Marquitta continues to light the way by building legacy, leading with purpose, and serving with intention.

Donor Manager

Charlena Young is a strategic fiscal steward with nearly two decades of public service experience. She is recognized for driving sustainable outcomes through financial oversight, process improvement, and mentorship. Passionate about community service, she brings clarity, accountability, and a commitment to empowering mission-driven organizations through trusted leadership.

Charlena joined Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. in Fall 2007 on the campus of Kentucky State University. A proud life member, she actively serves in the Lambda Sigma Sigma Alumnae Chapter in Stockbridge, GA, where she uplifts others through mentorship, civic engagement, and values-driven collaboration. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration, with research focused on nonprofit financial sustainability.

Anchor 1

Charna F. Wilson, 37, is the founder, chief designer and chief executive officer of SB WIL DESIGNS LLC, a graphic design, brand development and design, and social media strategy business since October 2016. She is also living and providing supervised Marriage and Family therapy services as an MFT and Certified Holistic Therapist at Embracing Emotion Mental Wellness in the Atlanta metro area. Born to two military parents in Alamogordo, New Mexico her childhood was filled with family, church, and homes across the country and the world. Growing up a military brat and a preacher’s (and sometimes pastor’s) kid filled life with nothing short of adventure and life changing experiences.
 

She has received a bachelor’s degree from Virginia State University in English, a master’s in Family Therapy from Mercer University, a certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship from Cornell University and certificates in Social Media Strategy, Graphic Design, Brand Development and Executive Coaching. She is also an experienced presenter, having given Mental Health and Self Care workshops on local and national platforms and was a presenter for the NER Know Your Role Epistoleus training workshop series as well as a 2022 SER 82nd and 2024 SER 84th Regional Conference workshop presenter, Amplify Greater Boule Workshop Series presenter (Embracing Your Inner SheEO), and Pivot Like a PRHO Virtual Leadership Institute Workshop presenter (The Greater Brand Standard).

 

When asked how she can be a therapist and a designer she replies “they’re connected. Brands are all about emotional connections and being mentally healthy is all about developing a balanced persona. I tap into the skills I’ve learned from each passion to get the best possible result for my client, whether therapeutic or creative.”


When Charna's not providing therapeutic services to diverse populations or branding services to various businesses, she can be found spending service or social time with her Sorors of the Zeta Alpha Sigma Alumnae chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. in College Park, GA where she was initiated in the Fall of 2017. She currently serves the chapter in the role of Parliamentarian and the Sophisticated Southeastern Region as Historian and Director of Publicity.

 

She enjoys creating art (in all types of forms), enjoying art (music, movies, museums, you name it) or enjoying her family and friends. With no children of her own, Charna loves to dote on her nieces and nephews, by blood or by bond.
